Playing with Distress Inks. The challenge at Annabelle Stamps  asks that we use the following colours. I didn't have the exact ones but thought these distress inks came fairly close. I stamped the flowers from the Designer flower stamp set in versamark, used white embossing powder and heat embossed them. The sentiment is from the Shape it up set and was also embossed. Used the distress inks over the top and this is the finished panel. A few shakes of water added to the distress look,  piece of ribbon for  embellishment, white and watermelon mats that was then mounted on a white card. 

May your Day be Special Pulled out my Star water colour  pencils and I like the result. Not many colours to choose from but sometimes that is a good thing. The card is for the sketch challenge over at  Annabelle Stamps   The image is from All things grow Stamp Set and was printed on watercolour paper with Ranger Archival black ink. Stamped the small reeds three times, the large reed twice and one of the butterflies. The fern from the set was stamped with versamark and the sentiment is from the same set.
