Crazy4Challenges - C4C374

Thanks Decided the next card I made I would not use copics so dragged out my watercolours. Found a small  set that I bought at a cheap dollar store that I had never used and gave them a whirl. It was great for backgrounds but not for detailed images but I couldn't waste them so here is the card I made with one of the backgrounds.  The challenge at crazy for challenges this week is to use your words and this is my take on it. We have had a long hot summer and this backgound sums it up. I stamped the wheat background stamp from Heroarts with versamark on the coloured panel and white heat embossed it. I die cut the word thanks three times from black and white card and layered them up. Cut the thanks out of the panel, adhered the panel to a black card matt and then glued in the thanks, slightly off setting it to give it a shadow.  Added 3 butterflies, used a Martha Stewart, and then adhered it to pale green card base. I look at the card and it screams, long hot summer....

Butterfly Kisses Finally have some time and space to get back into crafting. Had new carpet laid so that meant I had to dismantle my craft room and move everything out. Took ages to get it back together and I am still looking for things. At least it is now tidy so hopefully it will stay that way for a while. This month the image is from All Dressed Up  and she is gorgeous. Kept the image large and added the sentiment then coloured her with copics. Tried a new hair combo and like the result. The PP is from a Kaiser 61/2 x 61/2 pad called Mademoiselle and I punched 3 butterflies from the same PP and added some copic colour and pearls to them so they would stand out. Added a pearl to the bag for extra bling. Copics: Skin & Lips: E50,51,53,R20,RV23. Hair: Y000,00,E40,41. Dress: YG11,13,Y00,02,06 & black copic multiliner 0.1 Scarf:& Beanie: B18,21,23,26. Art Deco  I cant believe it is the end of another month and time for our monthly stamp meeting. This year just seems to be flying away so fast. The theme for this month was Art Deco and I usually only do the ATC (Artist trading card) swap but since I have a few stamps for this period and some time I entered the card challenge as well. They were both coloured with copics and on the ATC I used only stamps from Docrafts Tall Urban Stamp Art Deco - Flapper and then mounted it on matching card.  ATC Copics:  Skin: E000,01,02,R20. Hair: E40,41. Dress: BG11,13,14,49,N3,7. Gloves: BG75. Background: G0000,000,11,13. Feather & Sttole: N1,3,5, Flower: YR00,12. Corner & Panel: G000,11,YR00,12. The stamp for the card was a freebie from Claire Coxon courtesy of image source. The background PP is left over from an old Decoupage set and the border die from Martha Stewart. The sentiment is computer generated, printed on contrasting CS and then all th...

Elegant Birthday Card. Didn't really plan to make a birthday card with this lovely image I found in my to colour box. Not sure how long I have had it or where it came from but she sure is gorgeous. My go to colouring medium was my favourite copics and I love the way she turned out. The contrast of the teal and orange really makes the image pop.  The PP is from Kaiser's 61/2 by 61/2 in Paper pad called Bluebelle and the border die from Martha Stewart. The sentiment is from a Gina K set called Fanciful Tags by Nina Brackett but I think it may be discontinued. A white seam binding ribbon and bow and some Peacock Feathers Distress Ink finishes of the card. Copics:  Skin & Lips: E50.51,53,R20,24. Hair: E23,25. Dress & Earrings: BG0000,09,10,11,15,49. Hat & Umbrella: YR00,02,61 Shoes: N3.5.7. Ground: W1,3,5. Background: BG0000,000,00.
