Outlawz Progressive Monthly Challenge

You can never have enough. Had fun playing with the free image this month and this is the result. The freebie is from DT and administrator Sandra VanBlaricum and is called eggs. I printed the image twice, coloured them with copics then cut them out.  Printed another image from Beccys Place called Easter Bunny, coloured it also with copics then added the eggs to make my little scene. Cut some grass with a die from My favourite things, added the sentiment, adhered it to a blue card Mat then unto a white card base. The photo looks blue as it was taken late but in real life it is white.  Copics Used: Easter Rabbit: Bunny: E53,55,57,C9. Jacket & Pants: BG05,09,53, Cuffs & Hanky C00,1. The Outlawz Progressive Monthly Challenge

For Your Special Day This must be a record for me, the first week of the monthly challenge and I  have finished my card. I had never seen a wild rose so I googled it and this was the most common colours I found. The image from Beccy's was a joy to colour and I layered the three of the flowers for dimension, scored around the card then attached it to a pink card base. Thought that was it but something seemed to be missing so I added a couple of strips of black glitter paper and they really made it pop. The sentiment is from a set from Create a Smile called Just Because that was embossed with white on black card. Close-up of flowers Copics: Flowers: RV000,11,14. Leaves: YG1,17,25,67,G43. Stems: E25,YG95.

Outlawz Monthly Progressive Challenge

Lazy Sunday Afternoon I thought I had posted this on my blog but for some reason I just did a draft and then forgot about it so here it is better late than Never.  This months freebie is from Beccy at Beccy's place  and she has to be one of my favourite digi artists. She has so many gorgeous images and such variety that's it hard to choose just a few. I love her rocking chair but I struggled with this image at first but now it's all done I like the relaxing feeling the card seems to evoke. At first I was just going to use the chair but thought it needed something else so I added this umbrella . I coloured the images with copics and used a warm grey for the shadow. The background was done with Tumbled Glass and Twisted Citron distress inks. The panel was mounted on blue CS, adhered to a PP panel from Kaiser's Sweet Nothings 6 1/2 in x 6 1/2 in pad then onto a card base. A nice clean and simple card that makes me want to spend a lazy afternoon just reading in this r...
