Birthday Splash This week at the Outlawz Sunday challege the theme was nautical and this adorable whale from Gerda Steiner  had not been inked so thought it was time. Gerda has so many cute images and they make great cas cards. I aslo used the wave from the  Simon Says Stamps set called Sailing. Used distress inks to colour the images and the rope ribbon is from  Darkroom Door . Great male birthday card and quick to whip up.

Little Stinker This latest challenge digital image is just so cute and I really like the way it turned out. Wasn't really sure on the right colours of the little fellow but google search soon fixed that. Nearly didn't get the challenge done this month as I was away and left the printout at home. Thought I was all organzied but that's life. Stinky is coloured with copics then cut out with Simon Says Stamps stitched rectangle die . Added some orange and white twine then mounted the piece back in the negative of the die. The sentiment is from GinaKs Elegant Flowers stamp se t. Added some glossy accents on the flower, Rangers black enamel accents on the nose and eyes to finish off. Oh, I just had to give him some spots to brighten that cute smiley face.      

Lil' Elephant Gerda throw in a surprise challenge with this gorgeous image called Lil' Elephant this weekend and I managed to whip this up before I left to head back to Orange with my daughter Tammy. It's a friends birthday and this was perfect. Coloured the image with copics, DP is Basicgrey Curio and Off-beat 6x6 pads and red and black twine. April Challenge This lovely image is for the latest challenge at Gerda Steiner Designs  and she is a cutie. I coloured her with my copics then fussy cut the image out. Printed a second one but only coloured the mug, cut  it out and then used dimentionals to prop it up. The paper is old, creative memories I think and the rest is bits & pieces from my stash. Glossy accents was added to her shoes and the heart on the mug but doesn't show up on the photo. Copics: Hair: E09,13,18,27. Skin: E11,51,53,R20& Signo white pen  Dress: YG09,13,21. Apron: BG0000 Mug: R27,59, B16,17. Shoes: C0,3,7, Colourless blender. Coffee: E47.

March Challenge This months Challenge at Gerda Steiner Designs  is a cute image called Kitten and Chicks. There is still time to get this adorable image and enter the challenge. Just click on the link above. I printed the image twice and coloured a few extra eggs and chicks that I added to the main image with dimensionals. The pierced oval is from MFT. I coloured them with copics and the DP is from Cre8tiv 6 x 6 mini stack. The sentiment is computer generated and just seem to go with this image. The copics I used Kitten: E31,33,35,37. Chicks: Y13,18,YR37. Eggs: E40,50. Sky: B0000,0. Grass: G43,85,99. Signo white pen used for whiskers.
