Dressing the Tree All Dressed up have so many lovely digis it is hard to choose a favourite but this one is high on the list. Have used this image before but have never posted the finished card so thought it was about time I did one. I kept it fairly CAS  and as usual it has been coloured with copics. The sentiment is from an old Verve stamp set called O Christmas Tree and it seem so appropriate with this image.Sadly it is no longer available which seems to be the case with so many of my old favourites. Gerda's  June/July Challenge Watermelon Kid Gerda is having a summer break so we have two lovely images for latest challenge . I have coloured both but this is the only one to make it on to a card. Hopefully will get the next one done before the cut off date. Watermelon is such a happy summery image and just screamed to be coloured in bright colours. As we are in winter down here in Australia was nice to think of warm weather. Kept it simple and coloured with my favouites, copics, and am happy with it. The sun is  from a set by Verve  (currently out of stock) but was just  right  for this scene. The sentiment is from the same set. The boy is layered and fussy cut as well as the sun, then mounted with dimensional tape on white card. I then added it to a blue card base.
