Dolphins Have had trouble getting back into the swing of things since my break in Bali and not a lot of blog posts plus just can't seem to get motivated. Did get the email about the latest challenge from Crazy4Challenges and have been wanting to try these images out so this is what I made. Not alot of sand but it fits the criteria and love the way it turned out. The images are from Make it Crafty and as yet don't know what sentiment I want to add.. Used copics to colour the scene but I did not keep a record which is unusual but sand and coral can be what ever you want..

Happiest of Birthdays Heading of to Bali in a few days so have been trying to get a few craft projects done. When I saw the criteria for this weeks challenge at C4C483 I had this off-cut of paper sitting on my desk from another card and this is the result. I am a hoarder and have been trying to use the bits and pieces I save. The stamp is from a SU set called Bella and Friends and I coloured it with copics and then fussy cut the two images out. This was then adhered with dimensionals to the strips I had cut and placed on a white card base. The sentiment, from a set called More Essential Sentiments by MFT, was white heat embossed on black card and adhered over the images.  Copics: Dog: E11,15,19.N7. Bird: B24,26,R24,27,89YR07. Balloon: YR07,18,68, White Gel pen & Bow R24.

Tom & Tilly When I read the subject for this weeks challenge I knew just the stamp I wanted to use. Don't use it enough but it says it all about Grandparents and I didn't add a sentiment as the image just conveys the love shared by these two. I used copics to colour them and then adhered it to a pale red card mat then onto a grey card base. Have a Magical day I haven't done this challenge for a while and when I read the topic "Super Hero's" Harry Potter was the first thing that flashed into my mind so I had to try it. The image is a digi from Pixie Dust Studio and as I love Harry and to me he is a super hero it would make a great card for my daughters birthday. The background is a picture I collected somewhere and I taped it to coloured card matte then to a black card base. I coloured the image with copics and then fussy cut it out. Used dimensional tape to adhered it and the computer generated sentiment to the card.  Copics:  Skin: E00,11,13. Glasses: B0000. Hair: E49,74,77,79,W9. Shirt: C1,3. Jumper: N0,3,5. Thanks Decided the next card I made I would not use copics so dragged out my watercolours. Found a small  set that I bought at a cheap dollar store that I had never used and gave them a whirl. It was great for backgrounds but not for detailed images but I couldn't waste them so here is the card I made with one of the backgrounds.  The challenge at crazy for challenges this week is to use your words and this is my take on it. We have had a long hot summer and this backgound sums it up. I stamped the wheat background stamp from Heroarts with versamark on the coloured panel and white heat embossed it. I die cut the word thanks three times from black and white card and layered them up. Cut the thanks out of the panel, adhered the panel to a black card matt and then glued in the thanks, slightly off setting it to give it a shadow.  Added 3 butterflies, used a Martha Stewart, and then adhered it to pale green card base. I look at the card and it screams, long hot summer....
