I won. I know it's a random draw but still very excited to be a winner on All Dressed up Challenge 66 .This is the second time as I was one of the top three for Challenge 65  and I think I am still pinching myself. I just love making cards and by entering challenges it pushes me to think out side the box. I guess we all get stuck in a rut occasionally so having to make something different is fun. I have used one of the digis I won called Autumn Girl as we are enjoying some lovely Autumn weather down here in Australia after a very hot summer. First I coloured a panel with Oxide distress inks in Autumn tones, used some of it to stamped some leaves from the SU Gently Falling set and cut them out. The rest I used to adhere the printed image too. She was coloured with copics then cut out using a stitched die from Simon Says stamps and this was then matted to a green piece of card for some contrast and on to a pale grey card base. A Cuddle makes it Better. The girl and her dog is such a cute image and I know a dear friend will appreciate it as she has been feeling down after losing her beloved pet. Kept the card simple by making the image the centre piece with no other embellishments. Coloured it with copics, adhered it to a simple blue cardstock matt then onto a white card base and all done.  Copics: Skin: E0000,00,01,11,55,R20. Hair: E08,11,19. Dress: G0000,00,02. Dog; N1,3. Cute Just Got Cuter Have just re-organized my craft room and catching up with some card making. I will not be doing any changes for a while, if ever as it has taken days to sort and then find things again. Hubby helped to pack it up so we could put more shelves in after the new carpet and he throw things in any box and didn't label any of them. At least I have more work space and he was was a great help. The card image was a freebie I have had printed out for awhile and it was time I used it. Have a friends birthday coming up and she has just acquired a new dog so thought this would be a great image for her birthday card. Coloured the image with copics and used a scarp of PP from an old pack from Gina K that I adhered to a aqua card base. Butterfly Kisses Finally have some time and space to get back into crafting. Had new carpet laid so that meant I had to dismantle my craft room and move everything out. Took ages to get it back together and I am still looking for things. At least it is now tidy so hopefully it will stay that way for a while. This month the image is from All Dressed Up  and she is gorgeous. Kept the image large and added the sentiment then coloured her with copics. Tried a new hair combo and like the result.The PP is from a Kaiser 61/2 x 61/2 pad called Mademoiselle and I punched 3 butterflies from the same PP and added some copic colour and pearls to them so they would stand out. Merry & Bright This month I decided to stay on the Christmas cards theme. As this is anything goes I often find it harder to pick an image but this cutie was calling out to be coloured. Went with my copics and left it clean and simple. The image and Scalloped edge is cut out with a die from Mama Elephant  then adhered to a white card base. Not sure if I like the blue colour now. Happy Christmas Little Star The freebie this month is from All Dressed Up and she is adorable. I wasn't going to post my card as everything that can go wrong did for this one. I was planning on using water colouring but printed in out on the ink jet printer on the water colour paper. They really don't mix and even heat setting didn't help. I hate to waste so I decided to use Prisma pencils but have never done it on the watercolour paper. The bumpy paper is really not the best surface, in fact it was hard work getting the pencils to blend but I persevered and I think I finally managed to achieve a reasonable card front. I am definitely going to give it another shot but later. The sentiment is a die from Impression Obsession  and the border snowflakes from Couture Creations but it is no longer available. Dressing the Tree All Dressed up have so many lovely digis it is hard to choose a favourite but this one is high on the list. Have used this image before but have never posted the finished card so thought it was about time I did one. I kept it fairly CAS  and as usual it has been coloured with copics. The sentiment is from an old Verve stamp set called O Christmas Tree and it seem so appropriate with this image.Sadly it is no longer available which seems to be the case with so many of my old favourites.
