Girl With Flowers It's been a month since I last posted as my poor old computer decided to throw a tantrum and I am going to have to buy a new one. My daughters partner managed to calm the beast but as it's 12 years old says it's time to upgrade. I actually enjoyed not having it after the first week as I read, crocheted and got over the withdrawal symptoms. Just in time now to add my challenge card. I broke out my Zig clean colour markers and had a play. Forgot to write down the one's I used but had fun and will try them again. Cut the image out with a My Favourite things rectangle die but mounted the frame for dimension over a scrap piece of PP. This was then adhered to a white card base. Added glossy accents to the flowers and headband then some black dots to her dress.

Voodoo King The image this month is from SLS Lines and it is different .This image is right out of my comfort zone but I must admit it was fun to do something I would never have chosen to do. Maybe I should try something like this again. The colours used are what I pictured in my head and are probably no resemblance to anything connected to a voodoo king. I just let my imagination run wild and love the look. Used my copics to colour the king and a stencil from MFT on the background. The background paper used is an old piece of coredinations core colour in a pale mauve that seemed to suit the image. The sentiment is computer generated. Copics:  Face: W1,3,5,9,R59,G00,N5. Hair: N1.5.7. Feathers: G17,29. Suit & Hat: BV22,25,29, White Gel Pen. Bottle: Y00,E77. Flowers: V000,01. Dolls: E70,71. Necklace: R37,C1,White Gel Pen. Rope: E40.

Cas July 5th Challenge Cool Cat I missed getting this card in for the challenge but thought I would put it on the blog. The next challenge is up and I made sure I was in early for it.  I coloured an image from Hambo   that I haven't used for ages. He has real attitude this cat. Printed the image on xpress it card, used copics for the colouring and the sun is a Die cut from MFT . This was then mounted on a blue card base.  Copics: Cat: E13,17,17,N10 and White Gel Pen. Lifesaver: R27,29,59,C0,1,3. Flipflops: E08,11,Y13,38,R14. Umbrella: YR12,16,18,YG06,09. Glass: BG10,11 Sea: B12,14 and White Gel Pen. Shadow: B0000. This one got featured!
