Let it Shine Altenew Academy On-line Class

Glitter, Glitter, Glitter.

Decided to do an on-line class with Altenew Academy called Let it Shine to try and use up some supplies that have been gathering dust. I have sooo much glitter and it's not something I use very often so thought I'd get some inspiration and put a dent in my stash. I am enjoying it but this is my only card I have made so far.  Mogo is not in top shape at the moment. The frame was a gift and has been sitting on my desk for ages and was perfect over the distress inked and stamped background. I stamped a flower and leaves from Altenew's Lacy Scrolls then fussy cut them and adhered them over the frame. I embossed the sentiment  from the Big Hello set from Inspired by Stamping on black card with Zing green embossing powder by American Crafts. The glitter backing was made using a sticky sheet and Saffron Micro fine Glitter from Elizabeth Craft Designs. Added the extra lime green mat as I thought it needed a Lift. Not my usual style but I like it and I have used up some of my glitter stash. The card was cased from Carissa Wiley, our very talented Glitter Queen Teacher.

  1. This is so stylish! Beautiful layout, love the bronze colored frame and the matching colored glitter background. I think it looks gorgeous.
