Less is More Alphabet 316
G'day from Sydney
There is a new challenge up at Less is More and it's all about the alphabet. I have had a small background stamp from Hampton Art by 7gypsies that I have never used and thought this challenge would be the perfect time to ink it up. First I stamped the Sydney Opera House from Darkroom Door onto a piece of white cardstock, stamped it again on masking paper and cut it out. Placed the mask over the image, stamped the cities of the world background using my Misti to make sure I had a good impression. I then stamped the g'day from the same Darkroom Door set and attached it to a black card base. Was going to just have it all white but I think I like the contrast of the black.
This must be the first card in months I have not coloured my image and I glad I tried something different.
Wow, this is stunning! What a stylish and dramatic design. It reminds me of old posters with beautiful typefaces and monochrome colour palettes - it looks absolutely great! Love it! Thanks so much for playing along with us at Less is More :)

Having been fortunate to visit Australia and stay in Sydney this reminds me so much of my visit. Fantastic bold card but retaining its CASness.
